The Direção Geral da Saúde has given the go-ahead for the Associação 25 de Abril to carry out their yearly parade down Avenida da Liberdade in celebration and remembrance of the carnation revolution, RTP reports. However, it will only be for members of the organization so that authorities can guarantee compliance to COVID restrictions.
Therefore, the Iniciativa Liberal (Liberal Initiative) party is organizing their own parade on the same day in the same place.
