This place in Arroios is worth the trek out of centro for many reasons: their inventive pastries loosely based on traditional Portuguese recipes but with an unexpected twist, their dried beef, and their octopus confit are among our favorites. Don’t forget to save room and reserve judgement for their famous Brazilian sobremesa called the sagu. We won’t spoil the surprise, but let’s just say it packs one hell of a flavorful punch in that it’s tasty, weird, and memorable. The value you get for the price you pay is what keeps many coming back for mais, especially after you try their standout caipirinha.
