La Brasserie de l’Entrecôte does exactly what its name suggests and more: it delivers one hell of a steak. Atlas dropped in after a day of decision fatigue and was pleasantly surprised by the minimal menu served with maximum confidence and zero nonsense. When a restaurant offers one main (and a special, if it’s feeling wild), it’s either a red flag or a flex. Here, it’s very much the latter.

The entrecôte arrives perfectly cooked, sliced, and resting on a gently heated platter so it never gets cold. Then there’s the sauce — a borderline religious experience, poured generously and replenished once you set sights on the heaping side of crisp, naked fries.

Service is old-school professional in the best way: a small army of waiters for a handful of tables, reading the room, making eye contact, and appearing exactly when needed. We paired the steaks with a solid mid-range red, finished strong with espresso, and left full, relaxed, and pleased with our life choices. Good food, swanky ambiance, flawless execution.
