Located inside a hotel, this café has little character (they play muzak versions of the Clash and Amy Winehouse), and it’s a bit pricy, although the croissant sandwiches are worth it. We recently tried their burger as well, and it scratched our itch especially with the side of their seasoned fries. If you need to get some work done, this is the place to do it. It’s anonymous enough to guarantee you won’t have any distractions, except of course when you hear “Welcome to the Jungle” on the playlist performed by a lounge singer on valium. Then you can take an eye-roll break. Many complain about the service here, but it’s just fine and what you can typically expect from corporate places all over Portugal.
