It was not an easy task to replace the beloved Sama Sama that previously occupied the space, but Lulu and her team made it happen. Vegetarians and carnivores alike won’t be disappointed with the menu as it offers staples like chickpea falafel and bumps the staple up a notch with their own beetroot variation. The hummus is creamy and elegant, the baba ghanoush is on point, and the pita is simply perfection.
As meat-eaters ourselves, we opted for the shwarma platters with chicken and lamb. What made the dish all the better was the presentation, the sauces, and of course, the staff. As the space is located right next to Crafty Corner, you can also wash it all down with your favorite artisanal beer. Cheers to the best new partnership in Lisbon!
