Cantinho do São Pedro
Big portions of perfectly prepared typical fare
The bochechas de porco (pork cheeks), the pernil (pork shank), and the bife a casa (house steak) melt in your mouth, and it’s a good thing too, otherwise your jaw might suffer exhaustion from tackling the portion size. This charming traditional spot is popular with both locals and tourists for their excellent service and top-notch food. In the summer, sit outside under the awning to take in the cool breeze, and in the winter, sit near the fireplace inside to warm your bones. You can’t go wrong at this place, unless you came for just a snack.
