Surprisingly decent pizza for a chain restaurant
Capricciosa is a chain pizza joint that’s surprisingly good, but don’t expect any atmosphere or attentive service or any of those other trappings of the bourgeoisie. They can be found behind Rossio’s main entrance, at Dockas, and in Parque Nações and are thankfully open at those weird hours between lunch and dinner when most local restaurants close their kitchens. Crunchy thin-crust pizzas, standard pastas, fresh salads, and run-of-the-mill desserts make this chain worth a visit, but only if nothing else is open. Usually it’s better to support local small businesses when they wake up from their siesta.
