For a great place to go to think, get inspired, or just take a walk, this hidden gem is a diamond in the rough. To call it hidden is laughable when you realize just how large it is inside this hot and cold greenhouse right smack in the center of the city, but it’s quite possible to walk by and completely miss it. Inside, there are rooms with giant cacti stretching toward the wooden slotted ceiling, curling, twisting, and daring you to touch their spikes. It’s as if Sleeping Beauty woke up inside Jurassic Park. The main atrium has a stream running through it that, if followed outdoors, takes you to a lake where ducks and black swan swim lazily. There are a bazillion varieties of plants from all around the world in there, and they are maintained with the utmost care. Highly recommended.
