AIDS Anjos cause charity cinema donation film free health HIV movie roundtable

Did you know that Sunday, December 1st, is World AIDS Day?

Earlier in November, CineClube70 organized a fundraiser for GAT (“Treatment Activists Group”) in the form of a selection of films about the not-so-uplifting topic of HIV and AIDS.

On World AIDS day, CineClube70 and Anjos70 want to end the cycle on a positive note (sorry…).

Here’s what they say:
“Let’s finish this cycle in celebration with a Positive Matiné.
We start at 16h with a Round Table moderated by Carmo Gê Pereira to learn about GAT — its history, fields of action, and challenges.”

From 18h until midnight there’s music by DeadClub, Mário Valente, Candy Diaz, and a surprise guest or two.

*Admission is free, with a suggested donation of 3€.
All donations will revert to GAT.
