ART INAUGURATION | Andreas H. Bitesnich: Deeper Shades | Belém | FREE @ Museu Coleção Berardo | Lisboa | Lisboa | Portugal

Andreas H. Bitesnich is a German photographer who has been photographing cities around the world for the last three decades. And Lisbon was on his list. In fact, last year Andreas did an art residency here, which ended up as a solo ehibit.

This coming Wednesday, Museu Coleção Berardo invites you to the opening of Andreas’ “Deeper Shades: Lisbon and Other Cities.”

Here’s what the organizers tell us:
“While Lisbon is the main focus of the exhibition, Andreas comprises images from his previous projects (New York, Tokyo, Paris, Vienna, and Berlin), giving us an insight into his magnificent creativity, his technical and aesthetic perfectionism, and his indomitably romantic spirit. Combining his passion for street photography and architecture with studio photography, Andreas H. Bitesnich creates new and exciting artificial realities, a balance of form and shadow, striking symmetries, and an unexpected interaction between the natural and the constructed.”

The inauguration is Wednesday, February 19th, at 19h.

NOTE: There is exactly zero info online about how long the show will be up — but you can contact the museum; or ask them, or Andreas, when you’re there.

FREE ENTRY.
