Garden Collective, founded by a group of Irish lads in Cork now sowing their seed here in Lisbon, is near and dear to Atlas. Partly because said Irish lads, as well as a good chunk of artists, poets and musicians taking part in the movement, are regular Atlas contributors and members of its street team. But also because what they do is, well, pretty cool. We’ll let them explain:
“Somebodies doing somethings…
a COLLECTIVE and PLATFORM for ARTISTS to SHARE, CREATE & COLLABORATE across all areas of art, music & culture.
Growing as we go :)”
And here’s their invite:
“After the success of the first event in August, Garden Collective is returning once again to Má Língua for the second Lisbon edition of the event! Once again featuring a fine selection of music, arts, and culture.
You know the deal: get there early for some poetry, an art exhibition (of local & international artists) and some fantastic live music.
Food & drink? Má Língua have you covered with a fine selection of tasty treats and craft beer.
Line-up to be announced in the run-up to the event so keep an eye and an ear open for Garden noises in the distance.
See you soon,
Garden Collective.”
The first Lisbon edition saw some amazing blossomings and fruitions. Trust us.
So come show help the breaking of cultural barriers grow.
