This work focuses on the dynamics with which Stravinsky transformed the world of classical music by forcing his audience to deal with their own evocative emotions. This performance will investigate what Stravinsky did for classical music by further exploring the human condition, this time through dance.
Watch the dancers express ruptures in the mind, the death of the body, and the birth of a soul, and keep in mind that the mind and imagination can be savage. Composers Nitin Sawhney, Jocelyn Pook and Ben Frost have lent their talents to delve further into the consciousness of the viewer. Who knows what will happen!
