Local singer songwriter Broken Candles released a new album last week titled Left With This Feeling.

This Friday, he comes to Galeria Zé dos Bois and, in their words, “takes a journey into the intimate experiences of relationship with the world, ourselves and our close and often transient connections with others.” They add, “at times described as Anti-Folk, and taking reference from artists such as Eliott Smith, Cass McCombs and Red House Painters, these deeply personal songs often hold a sombre melancholic tone, a blissfully edgy and sometimes distressing, yet equally beautiful experience of truthful storytelling.”
