This year, the Portuguese Chamber Orchestra is celebrating its 10th anniversary by exploring the “The Sound of Courage.” Since its inception, the orchestra has been involved in various social projects like the Young Portuguese Orchestra (JOP), the OCP Chamber Orchestras at CerciOeiras, and the Social Center Bairro 6 de Maio, and dozens of collaborations with Portuguese philharmonic bands. The simple act of music-making is not for the weak of heart. Under the direction of Pedro Carneiro and with the help of soloist António Rosado on piano, we will see if courage has a sound.
