This “symphony” created by François Chaignaud and Marie-Piere Brébant uses dance, performance, and song to develop a new musical installation piece based on the works of the famous female composer Hildegarda de Bingen. Presented in a loop, the piece will explore how music, dance, song, and costume relate to the composer’s search for “fervent and carnal relationship with the divine,” according to the organizers. Chaignaud teams up with choreographer Marie-Piere Brébant to see how cozy they can get with the immortal.
