And you can be too by attending the Ethical Assembly! Each ticket plants a tree in Portugal, so you’re already doing your part just by grabbing one.
As the organizers put it:

The event brings under discussion topics like climate change, environmental protection, circular design, sharing economy, ethical fashion, social entrepreneurship, activism.
There will also be doc & movie screenings, speed networking for sustainability & social impact professionals and enthusiasts, an eco shop, a clothing swap, an art showcase and a party!
International guest speakers include: Garrett & Nicole McNamara (USA), Dianna Cohen (USA), Leyla Acaroglu (AUS), Tony Butt (UK), Lynn Mylou (NE), Christienne de Tournay (USA), Cecilia Palmer (DE). We’ll be hosting the European movie premiere of The Story of Plastic (a new epic documentary just released in California), and also an exclusive screening of Artifishal together with Patagonia.
Each entry ticket plants one tree in a local reforestation & regeneration project (in the area of Coimbra); all decor & props are recycled, upcycled, borrowed or rented; leftover food will be donated to a local association feeding the homeless; we’re banning single-use plastic etc.
All food & drinks partners are small, organic, local & artisanal projects.
