Did you know that the U.S. is full of socialists?
Yep. It always has been.
101 years and one week ago (February 28, 1909), the Socialist Party of America organized the first Women’s Day in NYC.
A year later, German Marxist and women’s rights activist Clara Zetkin proposed that March 8th be celebrated yearly as a day honoring working women.
And according to the organizers of this one, “last year, women were at the forefront of struggles around the world, from the global climate movement to the uprisings that swept across Chile, Lebanon, Iraq, and other countries.”
This Sunday, Crew Hassan is keeping Marxism, socialism, and women’s rights everywhere alive and well, with some DJs and dance.
