October is a great time for loafing around and not paying mind to the technological overloads and ecological catastrophe of our troubled times.
The Loafing Heroes describe themselves as “a cosmopolitan ‘dream-folk’ group that fuses poetic lyrics with emotive melodies of auto-harp, viola, clarinet, guitar, concertina and percussion.”
Currently based in Lisbon, the project “conveys a subversive idea of ’loafing’ (which can mean wandering, lazy, idle, and thus perhaps an art of living and seeing) through albums.”
The Heroes released their sixth album, Meandertales, earlier this year.
This Sunday they’re stopping by RA 100 Arroios to share it, and more, with you.
Check out Atlas’ interview with the Heroes here.
