Here’s what organizers B.leza Clube say about this evening dedicated to celebrating Cape Verdean poet and composer Manuel d’Novas:
“With the premiere of the documentary made by Neu Lopes about his father, the desire arose to combine in the same evening the exhibition of this important cinematographic document with a concert dedicated entirely to his compositions. Ana Firmino, Dany Silva, and Nancy Vieira dedicate this concert to the composer, friend, and master, Manuel d’ Novas.
