The content-looking man on the left is chef Pedro Monteiro, and chef Pedro Monteiro is kind of a big deal in Lisbon when it comes to both beer and food.
Pedro was born and raised in Minas Gerais, Brazil, where his grandmother taught him to cook, igniting a life-long passion. He studied gastronomy in Brazil, then moved to Lisbon, then got a Master’s in gastronomy here, then, just for kicks, became a master brewer, and is now the main chef at the MUSA brewery in Marvila.
This Saturday morning, master chef Pedro comes to CCB (Jardim da Pedra) to conduct a master cooking class “dedicated to the world’s food and its unusual ingredients,” and you are invited for a taste of the mastery.
