Potro — which means “foal” in Spanish, which means “a young horse or related animal” in English (for those still scratching their heads) — is a mystery to us. We’re not even sure that’s his or her picture on the left. All we know is that he or she is a musician.
And here’s what we got straight from the horse’s mouth, Má língua:
“Potro.
Half man, half horse.
Young promise, but not knowing what.
She sings songs from her past so she will not be afraid of the future.”
We know. We’re still scratching our heads too.
But, if you, like us, are intrigued, and around Graça this Saturday night, stop by and unravel a mystery. And maybe even be pleasantly surprised.
It’s free.
