Nuno Costa likes the guitar, while Óscar Graça prefers piano. But they both like music, and also share a passion for cinema.
Since 2005, when Nuno and Óscar attended the Berklee College of Music, the pair have collaborated with various audiovisual and multimedia directors and producers worldwide.
Their latest project — Filme-Concerto (“Movie-Concert”) — is described by Nuno like this:
“This project aims not only to try to modernize or update, but rather to revive basic films in the history of cinema.”
The latest film the duo are reviving is 1927’s Aurora (Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans) by F. W. Murnau, with Nuno on guitar and Óscar on piano and keyboards (and both on laptops).
Come to Camones CineBar this Friday for an audio-visual hisotrcially-modern treat.
Check out some of Nuno and Óscar’s previous videos here.

And here’s a trailer for Aurora.
