MULTIMEDIA PERFORMANCE | Pedro Sousa Loureiro: Online distortion / Border line(s) | 10€
July 21 @ 20:30 - 22:30€10
“Tell me slowly and in a well-choreographed way… an episode in which you recognized your family’s cellular memory until the fourteenth generation… Shall we talk about it? Do you want to take the quantum leap or listen to techno in a caravel while we are discovering countries? Is reality, as we know it, the result of perception or distortion?”
Coimbra-born actor and performer Pedro Sousa Loureiro invites you to ask (and maybe answer) these and other questions in ‘Online distortion / Border line(s).’ Inspired in part by the work of New Jersey-born artist Cindy Sherman, and in part by an artistic residency in Armenia in 2019, the show deals with issues like “femininity, eccentricity, the unusual, hierarchical relationships, ego struggles, and physical and psychological limits.” It hits Lisbon on July 21, and here’s what the organizers add:
“With real-time drawing and video projection, this is a piece that will see its text written and renewed weekly, based on improvisations with each of the performers, and which will be accompanied by a musical score created by Francisco Barahona.”
