“Oitava Colina” translates to “the eighth hill,” because Lisbon actually has eight, not seven. Although it may feel like a lot more than that at times…
Oitava Colina also translates to good local beer. Yes, Lisbon has a few of those too, and this one is one of the best. The brewery turns four years old this year. To celebrate, they have teamed up with old friends Heden Lisboa for a party. You are cordially invited to climb the eighth hill and celebrate with “a conversation, with and around beer, for beer geeks and beyond.” They’ve also invited local rockers Môrus and Cape Verdean street performers Mistiçu to keep things flowing afterwards.
Should be a good Saturday.

Check out Atlas‘ interview with one of the boys behind the brews here.
And here’s a taste of Mistiçu.
