Crew Hassan is a venue that refuses to gentrify, partially because it’s a really cool place and partially because they welcome both gentrifying hipsters and broke loyal locals indiscriminately, with equally open arms.
MIDI Club is a self-described “Encontro de Maquinistas (‘Meeting of Machinists’)” that uses synthesizers, samplers, drum machines, video projection, and audiences to create a unique improvisational jam.
They add:
“The public is the generator that powers this jam, receiving and giving energy to make the trip together, through sounds and rhythms never before danced.”
EVIL RESIDENTS are Crew Hassan’s loyal resident DJs that have been making sure that any given jam flows smoothly for years now.
MIDI Club and EVIL RESIDENTS once again join forces this Friday night to help you dance away those post-holiday blues.
