From britanica.com:
“Although widely considered a synonym for rap music, the term hip-hop refers to a complex culture comprising four elements: deejaying, or “turntabling”; rapping, also known as “MCing” or “rhyming”; graffiti painting, also known as “graf” or “writing”; and “B-boying,” which encompasses hip-hop dance, style, and attitude, along with the sort of virile body language that philosopher Cornel West described as ‘postural semantics.'”
Raiz (or root in English) is a local party that, according to its organizers, “proposes to meet the four elements of Hip Hop culture.”
Two of the four elements are kicking off the first edition this Sunday.
The line-up:
Muleca XIII (MC)
Senshi DJ (DJ)
Cambodia Selecta SA (DJ)
Break0ut Official (MC)
Dave Wolf Rodriguez (MC)
And there’s likely to be some postural semantics.
ENTRY: 5€
Here’s Muleca XIII, the first headliner, bringing it back to the roots.
