La Sharada is a new space in Lisbon that describes itself simply as “a fusion among the passions for food, drinks, and art.” Here’s what the organizers of their first-ever party say:
“We couldn’t be happier to finally announce the date of the inauguration party of LA SHARADA!!!!
The grand opening will take place on the 10th of July at our brand new venue in Anjos.
It’s going to be a day of pure fun filled with live music, art, pizza, and drinks and we cannot wait to see all our friends and people that helped us make our dream coming true.
6.30 pm – Mr Bubble & Christopher Thomas
We will get to listen to a mesmerizing live act!!! A fusion between electronic music and trumpet melodies. Inspired by hip hop, jazz, and music from different parts of the world that would bring us in a sensorial travel.
8.30 pm – Kilokomusic
Luis’ clarinet and Mick’s voice guide the dances alternately, while the groove is maintained by Ian’s percussion and Mick’s guitar, mixing brazilian, italian and cabo verde vibes. Get ready to enjoy music and dance!
Painting Exhibition – Batu Behram
Lisbon based painter whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Cyprus and Germany. His works are characterized by the use of vibrant colors, yet are also imbued with a sense of malincony.Behram’s dreamscapes invoke emotion that is “frozen in space”, which slowly reveals itself.
Photography exhibition – Flavio Spaziani
Italian photographer based in Lisbon. He is going to present part of pictures that he shot during a project he was part of. This project aims to show different realities of agriculture’s colonies in the nord of Portugal of the 40’-50’, now occupied by houses and social centers based on agricultural production.
