With all the Carnaval festivities in town and the sun finally starting to show its face again, chances are you might be a little too happy.
If that’s the case, cultural space Com Calma has your weekly dose of sad.
They are showcasing the best of Lisbon’s second edition of ‘Triste Para Sempre’ (“Sad Forever”) — a festival of independent films from around the world dedicated to “sadness and unhappy endings.”
Sadly, the festival itself is already over. But you do get a chance to see screenings of the saddest of the sad, aka the winners of the Prémio Lagrima Internacional e Lágrima Nacional (“International and National Tear Award”), this Friday night.
Free of charge.
*There will be English subtitles.
FREE ENTRY (but donations are welcome).
