Luísa Taveira’s show is about a ballet dancer who has reached the end of her career, played by Barbora Hruskova.
On the verge of abandoning its discipline, the body tells the true story of the years of physical dedication, devotion, military precision, self criticism, and compulsion that hide behind the ethereal beauty of ballet.
Hruskova has said that dancing is like being “crossed by storms.” We can only assume her performance will be a whirlwind of elegance, passion, and devotion.
