Do you like your musicians to have courage, integrity, intelligence, and emotional honesty, and, at the same time, to be able to see them for free?
We know we do.
Locals Filho Único, in partnership with the National Museum of Contemporary Art of Chiado, have been running the concert cycle “Summer Nights” for a decade now.
For 2019, they say “the brand of the program is guided by promoting musicians and shows with courage, integrity, intelligence, and emotional honesty, gratifying the place that it was gaining in the cultural map of the city during the summertime, supported by curiosity and public confidence in Lisbon and those who visit it.”
The series kicks off with Raw Forest this Friday, and then runs for three more Fridays, with the following line-up:
August 9 – Maria Reis (EN).
August 16 – Oren Ambarchi (AU).
August 23 – Peter Evans (US).
