to Aug 29 | GROUP ART EXHIBIT | Linha Recta Linha Curva | Belém | FREE
Linha Recta Linha Curva (“Straight Line Curved Line”) is a joint effort by three artists exploring the idea of “nature and the city.”
Painter Pascal Ruesch has lived in Brazil for over 20 years. He brings “the straight side” of the show, from the city of São Paulo.
Painter Sara Maia is Portuguese; she represents “the curved side,” with art from the Colombian jungle.
Júlio Moreira, writer and landscaper, provides the texts that accompany this clash of two worlds.
Casa de América Latina is a non-profit created “with the mission of bringing Portugal closer to Latin America by stimulating knowledge and cooperation with Latin American countries.”
They’re hosting the exhibit (Monday-Friday, 9h30-18h30) until August 29th.
