Festival Todos hits Lisbon this summer, and one of the many great free activities it offers the city is their Sewing Atelier Workshop.
Here’s how the organizers describe it:
“Once again we sew together as a way of meeting in preparation for this festival. This time we weave poem blankets, or poem mats, from our poetic, visual, and aesthetic references. A poem rug or blanket that serves to pray, fly, sit, or ornament, each unique and handcrafted.
The result, as usual, will be for sale during the Festival, fully reverting to the participants of the workshops.”
