These days, it seems that culture is dying, the economy is stagnant, and not a lot of people are smiling under those masks…

MOVIMENTO REVERBERA (“Reverberation Movement”) describes itself as “a project created in Portugal with the objective of alerting to the damages in the cultural sector; a movement for the union of artists, producers, and the public, for the strengthening of culture.”

This weekend, the movement hits the streets with a series of live mobile concerts, and they have this to say to you:
“We are the Reverbera Movement: a new era of culture.
With the support of the Lisbon City Hall Social Emergency Fund, on the 8th and 9th of August, our bus will take you through the streets of Lisbon and bring music to your window, real and virtual. All concerts will be broadcast live on our YouTube channel.
Culture is reborn, the economy moves, and you smile again.”
