December 26, 2018 @ 11:00 - 19:00
An event every day that begins at 11:00, repeating until February 25, 2019
Considered by some to be the greatest philosopher since Immanuel Kant, Ludwig Wittgenstein played a controversial role in 20th-century analytic philosophy. We’re all for logic, the philosophy of mind, language, and mathematics, so we’re excited to see how all of this plays out when mixed with architecture and how all of this has inspired artists from around the globe.
From the organizers:
This exhibition presents a selection of works from various institutions and artists, including a set of unpublished works by national artists, which took as a starting point the exploration of the ideas of philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein, and his house in Vienna (which he designed and built between 1926 and 1928). The result is a dialogue between art, architecture and philosophy in the rooms of the Main Gallery.
DATE: until February 25
ROOM: main gallery
CURATOR: Nuno Crespo
