ATTENTION: Museums in Lisbon, along with all other Cultural establishments, will be closed until at least the end of January 2021 due to new Covid safety measures, which you can read about here.
An event every week that begins at 13:00 on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, repeating until January 17, 2021
With the pandemic, Thomas Mendonça was no longer able to fulfill his work routines – sometimes due to the vegetative state, panic, alertness, contingency, sometimes due to the state of calamity or emergency. Because he “died” of emptiness, he started to paint. He preserved himself and took the time, modestly, to paint portraits in acrylic on all the packages of ice cream, pizzas, and cereals that the quarantine provided for him.
Now, Thomas has a new solo painting exhibit.
Check it out until January 17th, or before/ after the next lockdown.
