to Jan 5 | ART EXHIBIT | Toni Marmota: El día de la marmota | FREE

November 5, 2021 - January 5, 2022

Toni Marmota is kind of like the Spanish version of Keith Haring, artistically speaking. He is also the founder of the ’80s rock group La Frontera. Both artist and band are alive and well, and currently in Lisbon; moreover, on Friday night and Saturday day (November 5-6), they come to Fabrica Braço de Prata to make some art and noise.

Here’s what the Fabrica adds:
“Marmota will hold a performance in the outdoor space of the courtyard of the Braço de Prata Factory, a live painted mural, so that the public visiting the exhibition ‘El día de la marmota/Groundhog Day’ can see the creation process to the sound of live music by his legendary group; in this way, music joins painting in the same performance, creating a unitary environment for the viewer.”

Friday- 19h-23h30.
Saturday- 11h-19h30.

And, while Toni and La Frontera will then likely move on to make more art and noise elsewhere, the mural/exhibition, once finished, will remain inside the Factory until the end of January 2022.

FREE ENTRY (we think, but double-check with the Fabrica just in case)
