“The Theater of Apparitions” is the new and visionary work by Roger Ballen. With a four decades of work, Ballen is known for the psychological strength of his images that inhabit in a space between painting, draw, installation, and photography. This “Theater of apparitions” represents, simultaneously, a removal from his usual production and the culminate of his very own aesthetic, connecting the creation process of both image and performance.
