Portuguese photographer Bruno Portela has documented the urban development of Parque das Nações for the last two decades. Ever since the Expo’98 fair transformed this forgotten part of town to an ever-expanding modern microcosm of art, commerce, culture, technology, and marine life.
Now Bruno presents “You are not here.”
Seventy-eight photographs, spread out through the open space along the river, meant to take the viewer on a journey through the remarkable transformation of this neck of the woods since the turn of the millennium.
