JA International Theatre presents a staged reading of an interlaced adaptation of 3 plays-
MONOLGUE by Harold Pinter
IPHIGENIA–IN OREM by Neil LaBute
MEDEA by Neil LaBute
that coast the uncanny edge of living memory on the distant shores of the unresolved past.
Set in a dive bar in the twilight zone of memory, where the blues play in scarlet hues, a bartender polishes glasses as she trades tender barbs and lethal affections with the spectre of an old friend, a travelling salesman finally confronts the looming ghosts of the past that loom high in his rear-view mirror and a young woman recounts a dark tale of twisted heart and ruptured innocence that must ultimately be reckoned with in blood. Three jagged memories interwoven with the music of desperate anguish, as redemption seems only one drink away.
Cast : Pat Butler, Dan Cotterall, Myriam Santos
Adapted & Directed by Suresh Nampuri
