Africa, for the most part, has not been doing so great in recent centuries, and the global pandemic is not helping. Since 1963, May 25th has been known to some as Africa Day. This year, to celebrate, here’s what local restaurant Casa Mocambo says about its ‘Africa Week – Food and Culture at Casa Mocambo’ (which is six evenings of art, music, food, workshops, and more, African-style.:
“To mark Africa Day, Casa Mocambo, in partnership with the artists, will have a week full of food and culture that goes from Lisbon to Guinea Bissau passing through Portuguese-speaking countries.”
They add:
“The minimum contribution is 3 €.
Given the capacity limitation as well as the security measures for everyone, the reservation is mandatory.
Talk to Mafalda and come and relax and celebrate Africa, inside the house or in the backyard-terrace at the door.”
