to May 5 | PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT | Photo Ark by Joel Sartores for National Geographic | Belém | 10€-24€
If you’re a human who lives on planet Earth, it’s safe to say you’ve seen a National Geographic magazine in your lifetime. And if you care about non-humans that also live on planet Earth, but may cease to do so in your lifetime, then you might want to check out photographer Joel Sartores’ massive project Photo Ark.
Joel embarked on a 25-year-long mission to photograph and archive 12,000 animal species that live in captivity. It’s the National Geographic’s most viewed exhibit to date. Now, more than a 100 of these photos have made their way to Lisbon.
Come be reminded that the world is bigger than a smartphone screen. And bring the kids (the tickets can be individual or for the whole family).
Monday to Friday- 10h – 19h;
Saturday, Sunday, and holidays- 10h – 20h.
