“Crossed Looks” is described by its organizers, Museu de São Roque, as a “photography exhibition that crosses the eyes of Portuguese in Vietnam and Vietnamese in Portugal.”
They add:
“On the 100th anniversary of the Imperial Decree allowing the use of the Latin alphabet in the Vietnamese national language, Quoc Ngu, Misericórdia de Lisboa invites you to discover some aspects of Cochinchina culture.”

The artists on display are:
Eduardo Kol Carvalho (Lisbon).
Hoang Hông Quân (Vietnam).
Nguyen Phuong Nhi (Porto).
Isabel Pereira (Porto).
Jorge Kol Carvalho and Regina Pereira (Azores).
Manuel Casimiro (Porto).

In addition, Vietnamese music, puppet theater, and gastronomy sessions will be held at Largo Trindade Coelho in front of the museum.
