“A picture is worth a thousand words.”
Unknown.
Nobody’s really sure who said that first. Because, well, a picture is worth a thousand words.
What we do know is that a November Sunday night is the perfect time to let the screen do the talking, especially when it’s free.
We’ll let Crew Hassan tell you the rest:
“Connected to a darker side of the cinema and, therefore, also to life, these are films that reach or emerge from the depths of the human being. We’re talking about the ghosts of existence.
This cycle proposes to present works that today are considered not only a historical landmark in the seventh art but also cases of study among filmmakers.”
November 18th:
PHANTOM by F.W. Murnau (1922).
November 25th:
THE PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC by Carl Theodor Dreyer (1928).
18h – 20h.
FREE ENTRY.
