Trains are cool. Everybody knows that.
And one of Lisbon’s main veins, when it comes to trains, is the Cascais line. It’s pretty cool too — it can get you to Belém. And back. Not to mention Cascais. It can get you to the beach. Dozens of beaches, actually. It’s affordable. And punctual. And it has a great view.
Also, it has some history.
The Cascais line turns 130 years old this year and, to celebrate, the Railroad Enthusiasts Club (Clube de Entusiastas do Caminho de Ferro) is hosting a photography exhibit honoring its legacy.
Take the train on over any day for the next two weeks and discover what’s kept its wheels turning for so long.
FREE ENTRY.
