All summer long, local non-profit Grupo Educar teams up with Mouraria’s Hollywood Café to bring you the second season of CinExu, which is twelve Monday night (and one Saturday night) sessions of film, workshops, and debates focusing on African culture, here and elsewhere, accompanied by a Bakongo dinner (meat, fish, and/or vegan), and here’s how they describe their objective:
“The objective is to get to know and recognize this space of resistance and Afro-Atlantic transit in the center of gentrified Lisbon, establish bonds, and strengthen an Afro-centered enterprise – that’s why we’ll give priority to dinners. Check out our schedule, spread the word, and show up!”
