Natália Gromicho, local and prolific painter, has her stuff hanging in galleries worldwide, from London to New York to Miami to Shanghai to — you guessed it — Lisbon. This means she’s keeping it real and remembers her roots. Or, as the kids like to say, Natalia is woke. This September, she presents a new show: “Wake up Chiado.” In it, according to the organizers, “the artist presents a call to attention to the wave of mass tourism that is de-characterizing the entire historical area of Lisbon.”
Eigthteen works from 2017 will be exhibited for the first time. In her personal studio and art gallery, Atelier Natalia Gromicho.
NOTE:
Private viewing is Thursday, Sept 6, at 15h. By appointment only via info@nataliagromicho.com.
Exhibition hours are Tue-Sat, 14h -18h.
FREE ENTRY.
And, if you go, remember to not act too touristy.
In other words, stay woke.
