Patricio Bicho was born in Valparaíso, Chile, in 1990. Today he lives and studies geography in Lisbon. He is also self-taught in drawing and painting. Here’s what the organizers of his new solo show say:
“Everyday passersby are unknown faces that travel along paths in a region of the world that dances on the seas between its contrasts of lights and shadows.
Everyday passers-by are apparently invisible and tenuously insignificant faces, but inside them they keep, besides their genuine charm, the usual secret of resisting and building their lives.
From a perspective of everyday life, he mixes Drawing, Geography, and an ethnographic look to develop a graphic proposal that narrates the lives of the simple people of the Latin American region in watercolor and polychromatic pencil.”
Patricio adds:
“All everyday lives deserve a Drawing.”
