Line, form, and color — you can expect to witness the mastery of each as done by native Porto painter Cristina Troufa, and all on raw canvas. The exhibit might be small but it’s mighty, and just like the Commodores, she’s letting it all hang out.
From the organizers:
This Porto native has been featured in various media in Portugal, Australia, Spain, Italy, Canada and the USA. In 2014 and 2016 she was an invited artist at the Biennial of Contemporary Art in Salerno, Italy and in 2015 she was a jury member of the “PortugArt” project in London, in the selection of Portuguese artists for a collective exhibition in the same city and in which she was a guest artist. In 2011 she obtained a FADEUP grant in cooperation with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, and now she’s exhibiting back in her motherland.
