The Queer Cinema festival, dedicated exclusively to the screening of LGBT-themed films, is the oldest film festival in Lisbon and will celebrate its 21st anniversary this year, which means it can now legally drink alcohol in the U.S. It is one of the most recognized festivals of its kind for its quality programming, activities, and of course, its supporters!
From the organizers:
Queer Lisboa 21 is held at the São Jorge Cinema in Lisbon from September 15 to 23, 2017. The festival is composed of Competitive Sections (Best Feature Film, Best Documentary, Best Queer Film, Best Short Film and Best Short Film European School), as well as non-competitive sections like Panorama, Queer Pop, Queer Focus and the special projections Opening and Closing Nights.
AC / E supports the presentation and the subsequent session of questions and answers of the film Pieles, by Eduardo Casanova.
