to Sept 29 | THEATER | Afonso Molinar: Apocalipse segundo Alpha e Beta | 6-12€
R. Alexandre Braga 24A
1150-004 Lisboa
Portugal

Apocalipse segundo Alpha e Beta (“Apocalypse according to Alpha and Beta”) is a new multimedia performance piece by local actor, artist, photographer, and director Afonso Molinar, and it’s about whether size really matters.
Literally.
Here’s what the organizers say:
“Apocalypse According to Alpha and Beta is about an agonistic world in which there was a total separation between tall and short human beings. The action takes place many generations after the segregation of peoples, profoundly altering the genetic code of the population, thus enhancing each other’s physical characteristics.
There are no longer ‘average’ people integrated into society. There are no more people. Just giants and dwarfs, ups and downs. Among the peoples, the war zone. Wasteland, Fallout, Ground Zero.
Anything.
(Post) Revelation, Ragnarök, Armageddon.”
Doesn’t sound like much of a stretch to us.
Tickets*: 12€.
